    How to Upload + Use a Custom Font on Blogger?


    Hello Friends today I'm Here to tell You about How to Add Custom Fonts on Blogger?
    If you got yourself a premade Blogger template, you’ll know that Blogspot/Blogger offers quite a list of fonts to choose from. However, if you really want your blog’s design to stand out from the crowd- you might be thinking about installing a custom font on your blog. In this tutorial, I’m going to show how you can upload + use any font from Google Web Fonts.

    You can choose from over 800 fonts, so I bet you’re going to find the one you love the most! Ok, let’s get to work now, here is what you have to do:

    INSTALL


    1. Choose the font you like & click on its title. In the new window, click on SELECT THIS FONT button:

    2. Open the font tab on the same page and copy its link:

    3. Now it’s time to import your font onto Blogger, login to www.blogger.com and open your blog’s dashboard. Go to TEMPLATE->EDIT HTML-> you’ll see a < head > tag at the beginning of the code, paste your link under it & make sure to close the link by adding ‘ / ‘ before the ending ‘ > ‘, so it should end with ‘ /> ‘.     Your font is now installed and ready to use, let’s go!

    USE

    Now, go to TEMPLATE->CUSTOMIZE->ADVANCED->ADD CSS. Here, you will be able to use your custom font by adding custom CSS elements. You should now:
    2. When you now the selector of the element you want to edit, you can go to the page of your Google Web Font again and find ‘Specify in CSS’ area:

    copy this line and go back to EDIT CSS area on your Blogger account.
    3. Now, let’s say you’re going to change the font of your posts titles, simply type in:
    .post-title {font-family: ‘Lato’, sans-serif;}

    It should change the font to the font you installed, if it doesn’t, you can also try forcing the edit by adding:
    .post-title {font-family: ‘Lato’, sans-serif !important;}


    Here you go! You should now be able to upload & use your new font!
